Rich Honey Aroma
Delicate Orchid Fragrance

Lingtou Mi Lan Xiang (Honey Orchid Aroma), a type of Dancong tea, is known for its unique flavor and aroma, characterized by its honey sweetness and orchid fragrance. The history of this tea can be traced back to the Qing Dynasty. It originates from Lingtou Village in Pingxi, Raoping County, and legend has it that this tea tree is several hundred years old, growing in a valley. Due to its unique aroma and quality, it has been sought after by tea merchants from Southeast Asia and Shantou at high prices. Despite facing three significant challenges in modern times that nearly led to its extinction, it has ultimately been preserved.

The primary difference between Lingtou Mi Lan Xiang (Honey Orchid Aroma) and Mi Lan Xiang produced in Phoenix Mountain is its stronger honey notes and orchid fragrance. This has led to the saying “Rich Honey Aroma and Delicate Orchid Fragrance,” describing its unique characteristics. After drinking it, one experiences a lingering floral sweetness, a lasting honey aroma, rich flavors with a sweet aftertaste, and a full-bodied mouthfeel that leaves a delightful fragrance on the lips and teeth.
