Lao Cong Shui Xian
(Old Bush Narcissus)

Rocky Floral Aroma

Orchid-Like Fragrance

The planting history of Wu Yi Lao Cong Shui Xian (Old Bush Narcissus) is very long and well-established, with a history that stretches back for a significant amount of time. It is a rare, ancient cluster of tea bushes that remains in the tea mountains of Wu Yi, surviving where other tree species could not. These Lao Cong Shui Xian trees have undergone the natural process of survival of the fittest, enduring environmental and climatic challenges, and have developed strong vitality, a stable core, and exceptional tea tree genetics. Among Wu Yi rock teas, Lao Cong Shui Xian is renowned for its rich flavor and lasting sweet aftertaste, allowing one to experience a simple, natural, and elegant fragrance. It is a favorite of many rock tea enthusiasts.

The tree age of Lao Cong Shui Xian is over 50 years, with some reaching over 100 years, known as the "century-old Lao Cong Shui Xian." This tea is beloved for its unique "rock essence" and strong orchid aroma. Its main fragrance is the rock flower scent of rock tea, with complex flavor notes such as woody taste (arbor flavor), mossy taste (moss flavor), and brown rice flavor (zong leaf scent). These characteristics make Lao Cong Shui Xian a high-end, rare category in Wu Yi rock tea, surpassing ordinary Shui Xian and most other Wu Yi rock teas.
